On Saturday 17th December, the Group sponsored the rugby union match between Leeds Tykes and League leaders Sale at Headingley.
In a very close match, Sale eventually ran out winners, 20:15. A party of professional guests were invited and were entertained by Fran Cotton the famous England and British Lions prop forward who regaled the audience with reminiscences of his career as player and coach.
Barry Gregory commented, “We have sponsored Leeds Tykes for many years and are keen to support them as a local club who provide important opportunities for sports participation. Leeds Tykes are part of the infrastructure of the City and we hope our support helps maintain that”.
