The Group are delighted to announce that we have agreed to sponsor York City Ladies Football team for the current season.
York City Ladies play in Division One North of the FA Women’s National League which is the fourth tier having been promoted last year. The league made up of northern teams includes, Leeds United, Newcastle United, Hull City and Middlesbrough. The club is managed by the Football Club Foundation of which Group Director, John McGhee is Chair.
Group Chairman, Barry Gregory said, “This is a terrific opportunity and we are delighted to support the club who are really on the up. Following the success of the England Lionesses a few weeks ago, we hope our support of a more “grass-roots” club will help grow talent in North Yorkshire and we wish the club continuing success”.
