Gregory Property Group has announced that it is rebranding back to its original name. It will now operate as Gregory Properties (Leeds) Ltd, a name that is still recognised and referred to in the business community since it was established more than 30 years ago.
The well-known Yorkshire developer is responsible for landmark regeneration schemes including the £40m Foss Islands Retail Park in York, Darlington Retail Park, Gate Park Retail Park in Rotherham, Mabgate Junction in Leeds, Wheatley Hall Park in Doncaster and the £40m Broad Street Plaza destination in Halifax. It has most recently delivered The Refinery a £30m, 407-bed student residential scheme on the fringe of Leeds city centre and the speculative development of 150,000 sq ft of distribution space at Park 32 in Pontefract.
Despite the effects of the Covid pandemic, the Group has continued to produce substantial profits.
Large office schemes on Whitehall Road and Wellington Street have also featured and in recent years the Group ventured into the residential market through Gregory Homes with new developments in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Monk Fryston.
Current ventures include a further residential development in Eccleshill, Bradford, a 145,000 sq ft logistics scheme in Rockingham, Barnsley and another student residential scheme in York.
Founder and Chairman, Barry Gregory said, “As the business has expanded over the years, we have evolved our brand and sub-divisional brands accordingly. However, we have always been recognised and referred to as Gregory Properties within the property and business community and so it makes sense to turn full circle with our brand name at a time when we embark on the next exciting chapter for the group.”
Award winning Gregory Property Group has delivered over 3 million sq ft of sustainable property developments across the North of England so far.
