CHARITABLE SUPPORT
The Group supports the Woodland Trust, whose work involves habitat restoration and woodland expansion addressing the threats from climate change and biodiversity loss. They are also members of Leeds Community Foundation supporting the underprivileged in the Leeds Region.
In 2022, the Group gave a substantial donation to the Ukraine DEC Appeal.
From 2006 to 2010, the Group supported The Opera North and Leeds Grand Theatre Development Trust restoration of Leeds Grand Theatre Programme.
Since 2014, Group Director John McGhee has been a Trustee of York City Football Club Foundation and since June 2022 as Chair of Trustees. The foundation supports the underprivileged in the York area through various initiatives including Sporting Memories, Walking Football, Female football (Including York City Ladies) and Healthy Holidays for children receiving free school meals.
